I think it’s safe to say that Summer 2020 will be a memorable one for us all. The one summer we couldn’t meet all of our family and friends with ease, flock to the nearest pub garden on a hot day or board a flight for a sunny vacation abroad…
But – hopefully – where we lacked in these things, we made up for them in other ways. Using our initiative and creativity to get by. Finding joy in new hobbies. Making time for skills we’ve always wanted to learn. And appreciating more than ever the great outdoors, where no matter what’s postponed or cancelled in the world, the beauty and growth of nature always continues.
I’ll remember this Summer just as you will, but it’ll also forever be my first Summer living in the country. The beautiful English countryside that I have come to adore so much.
So, here’s my Summer in 20 snaps (plus, 20 reasons why you should definitely explore rural England!)
